DAY 01: A PICTURE OF YOURSELF WITH FIFTEEN FACTS

1. I took dance (jazz, ballet, tap, pointe, etc.) for 14 years and I really really miss it! I haven't looked extremely hard but don't know of any places where I live that give adult classes. I would love to start that up again, though I don't think I'd love to see myself in a leotard and tights again!

2. I used to be pretty obsessed with the Backstreet Boys (KTBSPA = Keep The BackStreet Pride Alive!). In fact, I got my high school friends to dress up like them and take a picture for a contest. I was Nick.

3. I don't like shopping. I know, I'm a weird girl. I think it's a combination of not wanting to spend money and not wanting to try on clothes just to discover I wear a size (or more) larger now!

4. I have 5 brothers and sisters. 3 of them are half-siblings, but I love them just as much as if they're whole siblings. We are 3 girls and 3 boys, just like the Brady Bunch!

5. I play the flute (and piccolo). I played it from junior high school through college, but I actually have only picked it up a couple of times since I graduated undergrad about 5 years ago! I would love to find a group to play with... a community orchestra or something, but haven't spent much time looking into that either.

6. This won't be a big surprise to those close to me, but I'm just a tad baby crazy right now. I have been for several years, actually, but I've been in law school and starting out in "the real world" during that time.

7. I'm an attorney. I graduated law school in 2009 and started my own law firm. It's a general practice firm. We have a website and a facebook page.

8. My husband (whom I love) is an entrepreneur. He was a computer science major and has done everything from programming, to web development, to IT, to managerial/company leadership roles. He is very interested in business, technology, venture capital and trends in these areas. I'm very proud of him!

9. I LOVE food! Maybe too much. I am in a constant battle of trying to eat healthy/work out and indulging. I am most definitely a pizza connoisseur; I also love Artichoke Spinach pasta from Noodles, Bang Bang Shrimp from Bonefish Grill, and just anything that's deliciously good, but delectably bad for you!

10. I love cooking... if I have time. I don't like doing it if I'm extremely exhausted/in a rush, but I love trying out new recipes. They don't always turn out great, but every once in a while, we have a true winner! Maybe I'll blog about some of those recipes!

11. I have a Bucket List, but it seems like most of the things on there require money (sometimes, lots of it). I don't know that I'll get to all of it during my time here on this Earth, but I'd love to try! Maybe that'll be another blog post.

12. I am involved with The C.A.L.L. (Children of Arkansas Loved for a Lifetime). It's mission is "[t]o educate, equip and encourage the Christian community to provide a future and a hope for the children in foster care." To learn more, go here.

13. I am a Words With Friends fanatic. Love it! Play me: LKWeber. No cheaters please! I play too many of those already. ; ) You know who you are... and you should be ashamed!

14. This also won't surprise those close to me. I ♥ Jason Mraz!!! I saw him in concert for the first time in the Spring of 2009 and was instantly hooked. He is amazing live; sounds better than in recordings, which is (sadly) such a rare thing nowadays! Here's a video I took at that first concert.



15. I love Jesus. I grew up going to church and gaining the "head knowledge" of the Bible, but did not have the "heart knowledge" of knowing Christ and allowing him to truly change me and the way I lived my life. I accepted Christ as my Savior at age 18 and His grace and love has forever changed me.
